Photographic Edition print by Tony Potts I was commissioned to shoot a story for a Spanish department store four days at North Bondi, working with the real surf boat crews to show Spanish audiences a side of Australian life they'd never seen. What struck me immediately was the pride these young men carried so naturally, without any effort at all. For this shot I asked them to hold their oars upright and let the geometry do the work. The oars dwarf everything and that's exactly the point. If the oars are that big, what on earth does the boat look like? Forty years on, this image still makes me smile. Care: Display your artwork in a cool, dry place away from excessive moisture and direct sunlight, and hang it with wall hardware rated for its weight, using picture hooks or wall mounts rather than nails. For frames over 90cm or 7kg, use two wall hooks aligned with the D-rings on the back of the frame. To clean framed glass, lay the artwork flat and wipe with a soft cloth lightly sprayed with water or glass cleaner, never spraying the glass directly.
