Cocolea is proud to be a retail partner of Catherine Hiller, the Melbourne abstract expressionist painter whose studio is on Crockford Street in Port Melbourne, just around the corner from our showroom. We are genuinely excited to have a fellow local Port Melbourne artist as part of the Cocolea offering, and to bring her work to anyone searching for custom, curated art that is made to order, affordable and full of feeling.

Catherine paints in oil on linen, building up thick, sculptural layers of paint that lift off the canvas in rich three-dimensional texture. Her abstract compositions bring a tailored pop of colour to any residential or commercial interior, and each original is framed to perfection in a raw oak or black oak shadow box frame. Her originals are statement pieces from 123 x 153 cm, made for living rooms, dining rooms, entries and bedrooms.

Every artwork is also available as a framed fine art canvas print in a choice of sizes and Tasmanian oak, black or white shadow box frames, and Catherine paints custom commissions in your preferred size, palette and frame. Her work is made for homes and for hotels, hospitality fitouts, offices, and medical, clinic and wellness interiors that need art with warmth and presence.
