Balanced on two contrasting legs, the Virex is an oval coffee table with a sense of quiet tension and movement. An upright timber wedge and a brass-finished form cross beneath the top, leaving a slender opening where they meet.

The oval top and solid wood leg are finished in dark grey elm veneer, while the supporting plates and second leg are finished in vintage brass paint. The interplay of dark grain and softly aged metal gives the base the feel of a small sculpture.
