EcoSmart Fire Heritage Fireplace Insert

The Heritage series recreates the romance of a traditional wood-burning hearth, complete with a cast-look grate and ceramic logs behind a glass screen, as a flue-free bioethanol fireplace insert. With no chimney, gas line or electricity required, it brings a classic open-fire feel to period homes, new builds and even high-rise apartments. New to the EcoSmart Fire range for 2026, it is offered in three sizes to suit your fireplace opening or joinery.

Each firebox is built from zinc-sealed mild steel with a high-temperature black powder coat, housing a steel grate tray and solid 10 mm grate bars that cradle fire-rated ceramic logs. A toughened glass fire screen sits in front of the flame, giving the look of a crackling hearth with none of the smoke, ash or cleaning.

The 26SS and 42SS use a 5 litre stainless steel burner for around 7 to 11 hours of flame and approximately 13.72 MJ/h (4 kW) of heat, suiting rooms of about 35 m². The 56SS steps up to a 9 litre burner with around 8 to 13 hours per fill and approximately 15.83 MJ/h, warming spaces of up to about 60 m². All run on clean-burning e-NRG bioethanol.

Heritage inserts are O-TL listed to UL 1370 (USA), BSI certified to EN 16647 (Europe and UK) and compliant with the ACCC safety mandate for bioethanol burners in Australia. Each includes the Heritage grate insert, glass fire screen, 5 litre jerry can, fire lighter, lighting rod and bottle adaptor. Made to order, with a typical lead time of 12 to 16 weeks.
