Velor Floor-to-Ceiling Bookcase in Grey Metal & Silver Travertine

Rising from floor to ceiling on a slender grey metal frame, the Velor is a sculptural bookcase designed to turn a narrow wall into a curated display. Its open oval frames hold books, ceramics and objets, while a panel of silver travertine anchors the composition with the quiet weight of natural stone.

The frame is finished in matte grey powder-coated metal, paired with a matte silver travertine centre panel. The height adjusts between 263 and 293 cm, so the Velor fits snugly between floor and ceiling for a built-in look without any joinery.

Slim vertical shelving like this answers the current move towards architectural, gallery-style display — ideal where floor space is precious but ceiling height is generous.

How to Style It

Use a single Velor to frame a fireplace or doorway, line a pair either side of a sofa or bed, or run several along a living room, study or library wall. It suits boutique hotels, retail fit-outs and clinic receptions as an elegant display unit, and can be tailored in size, material and finish to suit your project and budget.
