Delvane Open Bookcase in Dark Grey Elm with Brass Columns

Airy yet substantial, the Delvane is an open bookcase that lets objects float. Two upright brass columns carry five evenly spaced shelves with softly rounded corners, leaving the sides open so the piece never feels heavy against the wall.

Each shelf is elm veneer in a dark grey matte finish, deep and moody with the grain still legible. The columns are finished in brass metallic paint, their slim vertical lines providing a warm counterpoint to the darker timber.

Dark timber tones paired with warm metals are a hallmark of current interiors moving toward richer, more enveloping palettes. The Delvane is newly arrived in Australia, through Cocolea.
