Caractère Wallpaper

Caractère is a plain wallcovering with real presence: a linen-canvas texture with a clearly defined weave that gives every wall the comforting depth of heavy, folded linen. By Casadeco, it is offered in an exceptionally broad palette, from chalky whites and warm beiges through to saturated reds, inky blues and deep forest greens, making it a versatile foundation for both quiet and bold schemes.

Specifications

Each roll measures 53 cm wide × 10 m long with a free match (no pattern repeat). Made from textured vinyl with a paste-the-wall application. It is washable and strippable, offers good light fastness and holds an Australian Group 1 fire rating, the highest classification, which makes it a strong choice for commercial interiors. Casadeco rolls are made to order with delivery in approximately 15 business days.

Sizing Guide

Priced per roll. To estimate how many rolls you need, divide the width of your wall by the roll width of 53 cm to find the number of drops, rounding up. Each drop is the wall height plus around 10 cm for trimming (this is a free match, so there is no repeat to allow for). Divide the roll length of 10 m by that drop length (rounding down) to see how many drops each roll yields, then divide your drops by that figure and round up.

Example: a wall 300 cm wide and 260 cm high needs 6 drops of about 270 cm. Each 10 m roll gives 3 drops, so you would order 2 rolls. We always suggest adding a spare roll from the same batch for future repairs, and having your installer confirm quantities before ordering.
