Named for the volcanic glass prized for its depth of colour, the Obsidian series is clad in select black cowhide with a deep, finely worked grain. The contrast of matte and gloss gives the leather a layered richness, finished with polished brass hardware for quiet, low-key luxury.
Built as a coffee table first, it combines a wide, practical top for books, trays and décor with a hidden drawer that keeps remotes and small essentials out of sight. The solid timber base gives it lasting stability.
The MG Art collection by Gordon Gu reimagines the classic hard-case trunk as functional art, pairing traditional trunk-making with modern design. Each piece is made to order, and finishes, leathers and hardware can be tailored to your interior.
