ESSENTIAL HOME

Luxury mid-century furniture

There’s a reason mid-century furniture is so highly prized today. It’s because it perfectly marries form with sleek and sexy functionality.

Essential Home puts its own spin on this era of furniture design, with an innovative and unique range that has a contemporary twist. The Portuguese brand takes important cinematographic and historic references from the 1930s and 60s and incorporates them in customisable designs, and customers can choose the colour in every detail of any piece.

Some of the show-stopping pieces featured at Cocolea include the Bogarde Armchair, Florence Centre Table, Gene Umbrella Stand and the glorious Fable Hanging Chair.

The collection also includes pieces designed with Milan studio Studiopepe, from the Fitzgerald modular sofa to sculptural travertine tables such as the Philip, Francis Scott and Beverley. Read our travertine furniture guide to see them styled and priced. Cocolea is an authorised Essential Home retailer in Australia.
