Air Rug

The composition of multicolor threads flows with a smooth gradient from shades of blue-gray haze to delicate colors of dawn - an amazing effect born in the atmosphere with the oblique rays of the sun passing through it. Vivid color strokes of local color that seem to be superimposed on this gradient appear frozen and suspended in the air. Hand-knotting from soft wool and silk threads in approximately equal proportions, multi-level pile complicating the texture of the rug’s surface. Knotting density is 100 knots per inch. To achieve a subtle color transition, a huge amount of multicolor yarn and close knotting were used. Air rug is one of the most multicolored ones.
