Behold the bejewelled eye of the Nazar Cabinet. Designed by Richard Yasmine for Scarlet Splendour, it is finished in mother of pearl and semi-precious stones with a matt kohl outline and glossy gold eyelashes, set on a gold base.
Inspired by the evil-eye amulet, the Nazar combines a modern vision, mythology and centuries-old craftsmanship. Its play of textures, materials and colours in matt and gloss lifts it to a sculptural level, and inside it works as a bar cabinet for bottles and glassware.
